Senior Property Tax Consultant – Remote (Texas-Based)

Texas Tax Appeal is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for an experienced, licensed, and mission-driven Senior Property Tax Consultant to join our team. We’re on a mission to help Texas property owners challenge unfair property valuations — and save them money in the process. We believe in honesty, fairness, and transparency. If you’re passionate about protecting homeowners and real estate investors from over-assessments — and have deep knowledge of Texas property tax laws — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Represent residential and commercial clients in appraisal protests across multiple Texas counties

  • Analyze property valuations, comparable sales, and market trends to prepare strong protest cases

  • Negotiate reductions during informal hearings and represent clients during ARB (Appraisal Review Board) proceedings

  • Collaborate with our internal operations team to ensure deadlines are met

  • Maintain compliance with state licensing and client communication standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree required: Business, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • MBA, CPA, or JD is a plus

  • Licensed Senior Property Tax Consultant with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR)

  • At least 3 years of experience in property tax appeals, ARB representation, or appraisal review

  • Strong knowledge of Texas CAD practices, Texas property tax code and protest processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Integrity-driven, organized, and passionate about advocacy and client savings

  • Comfortable working remotely with cloud-based tools and client databases

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently
